TikTok users claim that their videos criticizing big tech censorship have been deleted.
According to the Media Research Center, TikTok removed a video that repeated anti-vax allegations made by Project Veritas.
Project Veritas claims to have covertly videotaped physicians and government workers condemning the COVID-19 vaccination, which the right-wing Media Research Center just produced a video about. According to the Media Research Center, TikTok took down their post.
"Big tech censorship," according to Media Research. Speech policing refers to government censorship. Private businesses are exempt from this rule.)
When it comes to media and popular culture, the Media Research Center characterizes its goal as "neutralizing leftist bias."
L. Brent Bozell III created a multimillion-dollar charity to combat what it sees as liberal bias and conservative repression. It often complains about issues like Google rejecting advertising for abortion pill reversal and social media companies allegedly punishing Republicans disproportionately.
The Media Research Center tweeted on Wednesday that "TikTok banned our broadcast, revealing Big Tech repression..". No matter how hard they try, we will continue to stand up for #FreeSpeech.
Requests for comment to TikTok were not returned by Wednesday afternoon.
Media Research Center posted a video in which host Tierin-Rose Mandelburg states, "This week, we'll explain to you what happens when big tech censors a show on big tech censorship"
"...This is by far the most ironic instance. MRC's documentary series on censorship was taken down by the authorities.
Mandelburg claims that TikTok took down a Media Research Center video regarding the COVID vaccine from Facebook after it was shared on TikTok. As she explains, the video was reported as a breach of TikTok's community standards, therefore it was removed.
Right-wing undercover sting operation Project Veritas filmed a fictitious doctor with the Department of Health and Human Services, presumably without their knowledge, in the video that Facebook allegedly removed.
According to the report, the person on the video is either a contractor or a volunteer with the agency. In the past, Project Veritas has been accused of making films using fictitious insiders. There have been allegations of privacy invasion and doxing leveled against it as well. Twitter suspended it and its creator, James O'Keefe, earlier this year.
It appears that a doctor in the video attributes a patient's case of myocarditis on a vaccine and declares that "they're not going to blame the vaccine." As the CDC points out, a rare but serious adverse effect of the vaccination is myocarditis (inflammation of the heart).
Project Veritas' Facebook page does not appear to include the video.
Project Veritas, a group that pays "whistleblowers" to expose the wrongdoing of their former employers, has been on a recent anti-vaccine crusade. The COVID vaccine's effectiveness, components, and adverse effects are all touted on the company's social media pages.
The film produced by the Media Research Center concerning the removal by Facebook of Project Veritas' anti-vaccine video is still available on their YouTube channel.
According to Mandelburg, the group's objective is to reveal what the government and healthcare system are hiding about the COVID vaccination.
Adding that, she says, "big tech works a million times more to shut it up" than Project Veritas does "to start a vaccination dialogue."
Other films in the anti-vax series are described by her as well. One portrays a fictitious employee of the Food and Drug Administration, while the other portrays a fictitious employee of Johnson & Johnson.
Both films have been archived on Project Veritas' different social media outlets..........................................................................................................................................................
