Gab's CEO deactivates his Twitter account after launching an obscenely antisemitic attack.
Gab's CEO has already disabled the account a number of times.
Following an antisemitic outburst, Andrew Torba, CEO of far-right social media network Gab, appeared to have deleted the platform's Twitter account on Tuesday.
Torba promoted the development of a "parallel Christian community" while spreading antisemitic myths about Judeo-Bolshevism in a series of tweets.
The Nazi Party in Germany in the 1930s adopted the word "Judeo-Bolshevism" to refer to the conspiracy theory that Jews were behind communism.
"We are fed up and done with the Judeo-Bolshevik civilization," he said, "therefore we are establishing a parallel Christian community."
Torba's anti-Jewish beliefs were biblically valid, he said in reaction to the outpouring of condemnation.
To avoid being labeled a bigot, antisemite, or homophone, many Christians today hesitate to speak or proclaim the Gospel in their everyday lives, much alone live it.
According to Gab's CEO, the criticism directed at him was motivated by a dislike of Jesus Christ. He went on to say :
"I'm not despised by them. Torba observed, "They despise Christ." Some people get so enraged when you proclaim the truth of God's Word that they burst into fits of fury and spew out their hatred for Him for all to see. People are starting to take notice in greater numbers."
Prior to praising Hollywood actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson, Torba posted an antisemitic artist's image of Jews as "grotesque and forever cursed with bloodlust for money" in his 2004 film "The Passion of the Christ."
Torba described Gibson as "a king."
Gab's Twitter account went down immediately after the anti-Semitic tirade. The account had been deleted by Torba himself, according to an announcement on the page.
As of now, it's unknown why Torba canceled his Gab account, although he has done so on several times. According to some theories, Torba does this to avoid getting banned from Twitter.
