'Asian b*tches are ugly': In viral footage, a woman hurls racial comments towards TikToker outside a restaurant.
According to the TikToker, the employees aided the lady.
In a viral video uploaded Friday, a lady tells TikTok user @dennydoestiktok, or Denise, three times outside the New York City eatery Empanada Mama that "Asian bitches are ugly."
351,000 views and 39,000 likes have been recorded for the video. It is tagged with the hashtag #StopAsianHate. The TikTok begins with a still image of Denise captioned, "I had a girl and coworkers tell me 'you're an ugly asian bitch.' @empanadamamanyc don't fucking ever go there."
Denise starts the video by repeating what the lady told her before to the recording's start: "Asian bitches are ugly." The lady confirms that she did indeed say it and then repeats the remark.
The video then turns to the lady hurling more obscenities at the TikToker, who seems to be uncertain about Denise's ethnicity and speculating on other potential ethnicities.
"You're a fucking ugly fucking Mexican, fucking Hawaiian, or fucking whatever the fuck you are," the lady informs Denise.
Denise responds that she is waiting for someone, to which the lady mocks her. The video then turns to the lady referring to Denise as a "Chinese little bitch." Denise states in a text overlay over the video that the woman's "POC boyfriend" was "egging her on."
"Capture it," the lady adds, referring to her racial comments.
Denise continues, in text overlays over the video, by claiming that the Empanada Mama employees "simply stood there and backed" the woman's tirade.
Viewers expressed anger on Denise's behalf and sent her words of support under her video.
"It's insecure," one critic said.
"I know you don't need affirmation from anybody, but you're a beautiful lady, and that witch was filled with hatred!" another commented.
"That is heartbreaking," one person remarked. "It's tragic how much hatred people show. She most likely does not love herself enough to express hatred against other women.
Denise said in a remark that the general manager of Empanada Mama phoned to apologize. The Daily Dot was unable to verify the second woman's identity in the video.
