TikToker shaves off his boyfriend's hair after discovering he'd cheated on her, setting up a firestorm of controversy.
'This is abusive,' you say.
Girl with clippers approaches a man as he's lying down on the ground and removes part of his hair in a viral TikTok video. Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" is playing in the background as the video winds down.
"When he says you're the only one," captioned Courtney Brothers' Oct. 19 video on his Twitter account (@cortbugg). It was removed off the train early on Wednesday afternoon.
One of the most popular comments on the video rooted the TikToker before it was taken down.
As @britneydonoso put it, "If this is true...he deserves it.".
You [should have] done more, girl," he said to her. @misspeppapig69 expressed her thoughts in a post. "Hair increases in length."
Others, on the other hand, informed Brothers that giving her partner an undesirable haircut constitutes "assault" and termed the action "abusive."
As @peachsnowcone put it, "This is truly abusive".
@mistymountains8 asserted that "no matter how much that individual deserves it, this is still a crime."
The Daily Dot has not uncovered enough data to back commentators' assertions that giving someone an undesired haircut constituted assault in the UK and Australia.
